Marc Eger
Managing Director

Marc Eger is a seasoned investigator with two decades of investigative experience.  He began his career working with the RCMP and has transitioned into the private sector.  As the Managing Director and founder of Talon, he specializes in workplace and sports misconduct investigations.  He has significant experience conducting criminal investigations, interviewing parties/witnesses, and using a variety of investigative techniques to gather information. 

Marc's expertise is supported by extensive training and professional development. He has successfully completed many specialized courses and training opportunities, and has been able to apply this training in practice throughout his professional career. His dedication to continuous learning ensures he remains at the forefront of best practices.

Active in professional communities, Marc is a member of the Association for Workplace Investigators (AWI) and the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS). He also serves on the board of the Movement Centre of Manitoba and supports other not for profit organizations including the Joy Smith Foundation and Little Warriors.  Marc spent many years coaching youth sports and is a proud member of the Manitoba Metis Federation.

Deanna Brown is the Operations Assistant at Talon, supporting the Managing Director with daily business operations and serving as a primary point of contact for Talon clients. With over fifteen years as a litigation legal assistant at a major Winnipeg firm, Deanna brings extensive legal expertise, handling complex tasks with precision and care.

Her commitment to exceptional client care reflects her client-focused approach, fostering strong, trustworthy relationships. Deanna prioritizes understanding each client's unique needs, ensuring they receive tailored solutions and reliable support.
